Lawrence Lindsey, former economic adviser to President Bush, wrote a piece recently in the Wall Street Journal about Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama, and his tax policy.
It's not good for most of us. This is not to say that John McCain's proposed policies are any better. But it seems we may be headed down the path -- yet again -- of voting for the lesser of two evils.
I certainly hope that whomever is elected president is confronted with an opposition majority in Congress, for it is my opinion that the best government is one that cannot get anything done. This would be virtually assured if a Republican majority were in Congress while Obama was President, or if a Democratic majority were in during McCain's tenure.
We don't have to be reminded of the outcome when President Bush had a Republican majority in Congress.
